Mushroom kulambu

Method
Mushroom 250grms
Small onion 10nos thinly sliced
Tomatos 2nos thinly sliced
Greenchilli 2nos
Curry leaves one string
Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/4tbsl
Chilli powder 1tbsp
Coriander powder 1tbsp
Garam masala 1tbsp
Shredded coconut 1/4 cup
Fennel seed 1/2tbsp
Cinnamon small piece
Oil as needed 
Salt as needed 
Mustard seeds for tempering

Method:
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds to crackle. Add the onion, greenchilli with curry leaves Sauté well.
Once onion gets cooked add the thinly sliced tomatos. Cook until it turns mushy. 
Add the ginger garlic paste, cook until raw smell goes. 
Add the mushroom pieces and mix well

Add all the powder varieties and little water and mix well. 
Add salt to taste. 
Cook until the raw smell of the powder goes. 
Add the coconut, fennel seeds with cinnamon. Grind to smooth paste. 
Add the paste to the mushroom. Add water to the desired consistency. Cook well unt it roll boils. 
Once done Garnish with coriander leaves. 

Serve hot with plain rice, rotis, phulkas etc.

Senakilangu varuval(Elepant yam Roast) Ingredients : Senakilangu 250gms Oil as needed Mustard seeds for tempering Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp Salt as needed Chilli powder 1tbsp Turmeric powder 1/4tsp Preparation: First remove the outer layer of the yam. While cleaning it apply little oil to hands so that it won't create itchiness.  Cut into cubes. Add the cubes in a bowl of water with turmeric powder and salt. Boil for about 8 minutes. So that I will be 90% cooked. Switch off the flame and strain the.cubes to another bowl.   Heat oil in kadai, add mustard seeds when it splutters add curry leaves and gg paste.cook until raw smell goes off. Add the strained cubes with the chilli powder and salt as needed.  Fry in low flame. Until it turns Crispy out.  It goes well with sambar sadham, rasam sadham and best with creamy curd rice. 

Instant Mango pickle

Ingredients   1 fresh raw mango Salt to taste Gingelly oil 1tbsp Mustard seeds 1tbsp Fenugreek 1 string of curry leaves 2redchilli 1/2tbsp of turmeric powder 1 tbsp of chilli powder  1tbsp of sambar powder  Method Wash and Peel the outer layer of the mango Cut into small cubes Transfer to a bowl. Add 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder and chilli powder Add 1tbsp of sambar powder Add salt to taste and mix well Add the tempering and mix well. This can be used as a best combo for Curd rice. It stays good for one week if refrigerated  Instantango pickle is ready
